American Hospital Dubai is seeking a proficient and safety-conscious MRI Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Department. You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations, ensuring the production of high-quality images while adhering to strict safety protocols. This role involves patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and close collaboration with radiologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all requested MRI examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide after-hours imaging services as required.
• Ensure all safety measures and MRI screening protocols are strictly observed to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate with radiologists to accommodate critical and emergency procedures and ensure all procedural needs are met.
• Perform venipuncture, establish IV access, and administer contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, and ensure equipment is properly stocked and maintained.
• Participate in departmental Quality Improvement programs and assist with incident follow-up and patient complaint resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical Imaging.
• Must hold a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License and active registration from country of origin.
• Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Expert knowledge of magnetic protection and MRI safety procedures.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
