    • Oncology consultation and treatment
    • Patient follow-up in ambulatory settings
    • Research and clinical trial involvement
    • Teaching medical students and residents (UBC Northern Medical Program)

📍 Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent
  • FRCPC in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology (RCPSC), or equivalency
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC)
  • Suitable for UBC faculty appointment
  • Canadian citizens and permanent residents preferred per immigration regulations

🧳 Job Experience

  • Recent fellowship graduates welcome
  • Academic and/or clinical trial experience considered an asset

📍 Compensation & Incentives

  • Base salary as per provincial physician payment models under PHSA
  • Rural Incentives:
    • 12.6% Rural Premium (~$54,000)
    • Rural Flat Fee: ~$19,000
    • Recruitment Incentive: $15,000
  • Rural CME Fund:
    • Year 1–2: $600/year
    • Year 3–4: $3,600/year
    • Year 5+: $6,600/year
  • Moving expenses covered
  • Loan forgiveness options may apply
