🏑 1. Deliver In-Home Patient Care in Abu Dhabi

  • Visit patients at their homes across Abu Dhabi based on a schedule assigned by the healthcare coordinator.
  • Provide personalized care according to physician directives and treatment plan.

πŸ’Š 2. Medication & Insulin Administration

  • Ensure timely and safe administration of oral medication and insulin injections.
  • Monitor for side effects, allergic reactions, or issues during or after medication intake.

πŸ§ͺ 3. Perform Routine Health Assessments

  • Conduct tests including:
    • Blood Pressure (BP)
    • Blood Glucose Levels
    • Urine and Stool Tests
  • Record and report results to supervising medical staff or physicians.

🩹 4. Wound and Hygiene Management

  • Inspect patient wounds and surgical sites regularly.
  • Change dressings properly using sterile techniques.
  • Assist with patients’ grooming, personal hygiene, and bathing, especially for immobile or elderly clients.

πŸ” 5. Detect Signs of Health Decline or Infection

  • Observe for indications of:
    • Muscle weakness
    • Bedsores (pressure ulcers)
    • Fever or abnormal vitals signaling infections
  • Escalate concerns immediately to the physician.

  • Explain ongoing care procedures, medication routines, and recovery practices to family members.
  • Guide caregivers through the proper use of medical equipment at home.

🧠 8. Care for Patients with Complex Medical Needs

Deliver skilled nursing interventions for patients with critical conditions:

  • PEG/PEJ Tubes: For nutrition (externally placed gastrointestinal feeding tubes)
  • NGT: Nasogastric Tubes for feeding or drainage
  • Tracheostomy Care: Managing breathing tubes
  • IFC (Indwelling Foley Catheter): Urinary catheter care
  • Oxygenation Devices: Administer and monitor oxygen supply
  • PICC Line Management: Intravenous line for long-term medications/nutrition
  • Wound VAC: Vacuum-assisted wound healing
  • Special Populations: Dementia patients, newborns (mothers & infants), pediatric and geriatric care.

βœ… Requirements

  • Must have DOH (formerly HAAD) license or eligibility.
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience (home care preferred).
  • Must be open to working both AM and Night shifts, 12-hour shifts.
  • Comfortable working across various patient homes and medical cases.
  • Basic proficiency in Arabic is required.
  • Should have strong communication skills and empathy.
