We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse / Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists with various procedures, and managing associated administrative tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our dental department and upholding our commitment to safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chair-side during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, and prepare materials.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Provide patients with postoperative instructions and information on oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage the inventory of dental supplies.
• Ensure patient vitals are taken and accurately reported.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate license to work as a Dental Assistant/Nurse from the relevant UAE health authority (MOH).
• Must hold a valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Arabic is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records is an advantage.
