Medical Director - Consultant Psychiatrist

Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western trained, native Arabic speaking Medical Director / Consultant Psychiatrist for their client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which is a leading mental health facility. We are looking for Board Certified, Fellowship trained Consultant Psychiatrists, preferably ABMS, CCT, CCST, RCPSC, CMSA, FRC (Australia & New Zealand), Oberarzt / equivalent qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration:
• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
• Provide clinical leadership and direction to mental health team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals
• Participate in recruitment, training, and supervision of clinical staff
• Collaborate with clinic administration to manage psychiatric budget and resources
• Evaluate and optimize utilization of clinic resources for efficient service delivery
Clinical Care & Treatment:
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with various mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications ensuring patient safety and effectiveness
• Offer psychotherapy and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based and patient-centered care
Quality & Compliance:
• Monitor clinical outcomes, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality
• Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in peer review processes and ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards
• Adhere to all relevant clinical and administrative policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Patient Care & Advocacy:
• Advocate for patients' rights and access to appropriate mental health services
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and coordinated care
Community Engagement:
• Participate in community outreach and collaboration with other healthcare providers
Requirements
• Western trained
• Native Arabic speaking
• Board Certified, Fellowship trained Consultant Psychiatrists
• Preferably ABMS, CCT, CCST, RCPSC, CMSA, FRC (Australia & New Zealand), Oberarzt / equivalent qualifications
Compensation
Salary: SAR 85,000 per month plus bonus
Note: Salary mentioned is indicative. Final offer at client's discretion post-interviews.
