Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a native Arabic speaking, female, DOH licensed Pedodontist for their client in Abu Dhabi which is one the largest chain of dental centers in UAE. We are looking for Pedodontists with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi as a Pedodontist.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis & Treatment:
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental issues, including cavities, tooth decay, gum disease, and malocclusion (improper bite)
• Conduct various restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, using equipment and techniques suited for smaller mouths
Assessment & Development Monitoring:
• Perform oral health exams for infants, children, and teenagers to assess the growth and development of their teeth, gums, and jaws
• Track the development of a child's teeth and jaws and recommend orthodontic treatment if necessary
Preventive Care:
• Provide preventive treatments like routine teeth cleanings, fluoride applications, and dental sealants to protect young teeth from decay
Education & Guidance:
• Educate children and their caregivers on proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to promote a lifetime of good oral health
• Advise parents and children on how to manage habits like thumb-sucking and pacifier use that can affect oral development
Specialized Care:
• Provide specialized dental care for children and adolescents with special health care needs, who may require accommodations or unique approaches
• Employ child-friendly techniques to create a welcoming and calming environment, helping to manage dental anxiety and fear in young patients
Emergency Care:
• Handle dental injuries and emergencies common among children, such as fractured, displaced, or knocked-out teeth
Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as pediatricians and orthodontists, to ensure holistic and integrated care for the child
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry
Requirements
• Native Arabic speaking
• Female
• DOH licensed
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi as a Pedodontist
• Note: Candidates without 8-10 years of current experience in Abu Dhabi would not qualify for this vacancy
Compensation
Salary: AED 40,000 per month plus incentives
Note: Salary mentioned is indicative. Final offer at client's discretion after completion of interviews.
