Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a native Arabic speaking, female, DOH licensed Orthodontist for their client in Abu Dhabi which is one the largest chain of dental centers in UAE. We are looking for Orthodontists with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi as an Orthodontist.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis & Assessment:
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays, digital scans, photographs, and plaster models
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations evaluating teeth and jaw alignment
• Analyze relationship between teeth, jaws, and facial structures to determine extent of orthodontic issues
• Develop accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
Treatment Planning & Communication:
• Discuss treatment options, estimated timelines, and potential costs with patients and families
• Develop individualized treatment plans to correct crooked teeth, crowding, gaps, overbites, underbites, and other oral anomalies
Appliance Design & Fitting:
• Design, fabricate and fit custom orthodontic appliances (removable or fixed)
• Fit traditional, ceramic, or self-ligating braces
• Provide clear aligners such as Invisalign
• Install expanders to widen the upper jaw
• Apply headgear for complex jaw alignment issues
• Maintain tooth position after treatment with appropriate appliances
Treatment Management:
• Make adjustments to appliances including tightening braces, replacing wires, or providing new aligners
• Guide teeth into correct position through ongoing adjustments
• Schedule and perform regular follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress
Patient Education & Care:
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Provide guidance on care for orthodontic appliances
Professional Collaboration:
• Consult and collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and periodontists
• Coordinate complex treatment plans with other dental and medical professionals
• Provide referrals to other specialists when necessary for procedures outside orthodontic scope
Requirements
• Native Arabic speaking
• Female
• DOH licensed
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi as Orthodontist
• Note: Candidates without 8-10 years current experience in Abu Dhabi would not qualify for this vacancy
Compensation
Salary: AED 40,000 per month plus incentives
Note: Salary mentioned is indicative. Final offer at client's discretion after completion of interviews.
