Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western trained Consultant Psychiatrist with a fellowship training in Addiction Medicine, Substance Use Disorder, for their client in Dubai which is an inpatient mental health facility. We are looking for Consultant Psychiatrists with a minimum of 5 years PQE post fellowship training.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Leadership:
• Provide clinical care, mentor trainees and junior faculty
• Work closely with Leadership and Department of Psychiatry to ensure adequacy of psychiatric and medical staffing
• Ensure patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medical screening
• Provide oversight for appropriate utilization of services and identify criteria for level of care
Recruitment & Staffing:
• Assist in recruitment of psychiatrists and allied healthcare professionals
• Ensure all staff receive appropriate clinical supervision, staff development, and in-service training
Quality & Compliance:
• Contribute in development, approval, and review of all Policies, Procedures, and Protocols governing clinical care
• Identify treatment and service gaps
• Ensure all treatment modalities are consistent with most recent scientific evidence of effectiveness
• Follow and comply with all regulations, laws and standards relating to substance use disorder treatment
Process Improvement:
• Participate in process improvement programs
• Collaborate with administrative leadership to ensure appropriate medical records maintenance
• Participate in development and review of programs and positions impacting clinical services
Collaboration:
• Work with Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine Medical Director to achieve clinical excellence
Requirements
• Western trained
• Fellowship training in Addiction Medicine, Substance Use Disorder
• Minimum 5 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience) post fellowship training
Compensation
Salary: AED 80,000 per month plus family benefits
