Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist

Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Tier 1 Fellowship trained Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a multispecialty hospital. We are looking for western trained, Tier 1, preferably American Board certified, CCT, CCST, FRC: NZ & Australia, RCPSC / Tier 1 Fellowship trained Pediatric Rheumatologist with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of PQE.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis:
• Assess, diagnose and manage rheumatic diseases in children, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus and vasculitis
• Evaluate children with joint pain, muscle pain, and other rheumatic symptoms
• Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, lab work, biopsies), and review medical histories
Treatment Planning & Management:
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including medication management, therapies, and lifestyle adjustments
• Monitor disease progression, adjust treatment plans as needed
Patient & Family Care:
• Provide ongoing support and education to patients and families on disease management
• Educate patients and families about rheumatic conditions and treatment options
Collaborative Care:
• Work closely with pediatricians, physical therapists, immunologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals across multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
• Tier 1 Fellowship trained
• Western trained
• Preferably American Board certified, CCT, CCST, FRC: NZ & Australia, RCPSC
• Tier 1 Fellowship trained Pediatric Rheumatologist
• Minimum 8-10 years PQE
• Note: Physicians without a Tier 1 Fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology would not qualify for this vacancy
Compensation
Salary: AED 90,000 per month plus family benefits
