Description
Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Tier 1, western trained, Board Certified DHA licensed Anatomical Pathologist for their client in Dubai which is a European digital pathology laboratory using the latest cutting edge technological innovation in digital pathology, revolutionizing speed and accuracy within the industry. The client is in the process of setting up the digital pathology lab in Dubai and we are looking for a DHA licensed Anatomical Pathologist with a minimum of 12 to 15 years experience in Dubai, preferably having setup or established a pathology lab or chain of pathology labs in Dubai / UAE with solid exposure to the emerging markets, to lead the project as a co-founder.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Direction:
• Lead the project as co-founder in UAE and across emerging markets
• Head of laboratory, represent company and spearhead growth across the region
• Shape both strategic and operational direction of company in consultation with board of directors
Technical Expertise:
• Expert in utilizing and managing digital pathology platforms including slide scanners, viewing software, and advanced analytical tools
• Ensure efficient workflows and accurate diagnoses
• Expert in various diagnostic areas including histopathology, cytopathology, immunohistochemistry, and molecular pathology
• Analyze complex data and provide accurate diagnostic conclusions
Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to medical standards, regulatory protocols, and quality assurance programs within the lab
Team Leadership:
• Lead teams and mentor junior staff
• Contribute to service development
Requirements
• Tier 1, western trained, Board Certified
• DHA licensed
• Minimum 12-15 years experience in Dubai
• Preferably having setup or established pathology lab or chain of pathology labs in Dubai/UAE
• Solid exposure to emerging markets
• At least 5 years recent experience in leadership role
• Note: Candidates without Dubai experience would not qualify for this role
Compensation
Salary: AED 50,000 per month + Equity
Note: Salary mentioned is indicative. Final offer at client's discretion post-interviews.
